Start this meaningful role on August 5th, 2026, and finish the school year on June 4th, 2027, working a consistent 37.5-hour weekly schedule.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina Special Education Teacher license (SC SPED LICENSE) required
- Strong commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Experience or interest in working with various student needs, including autism, multiple severe disabilities, emotional disturbance, and preschool special education
- Adaptable, collaborative approach for working alongside general and special education colleagues
- Willingness to work fully onsite at designated school(s)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction based on individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Develop engaging lesson plans accommodating unique student abilities
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and support personnel
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and student progress
- Foster student growth by building supportive teacher-student relationships
