Special Education Teacher - Goose Creek, South Carolina

Multiple roles are available in elementary, middle, and high school settings, including positions across self-contained, resource/co-teach, and specialized programs (Preschool, MSD, Cross Categorical, and ED COPE).

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education Teacher License (SPED) required
• Prior experience in a school-based special education setting
• Knowledge of IEP processes and compliance
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Committed to differentiated instruction and positive behavioral supports
• Available for an on-site position (No remote or hybrid options)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
• Write and maintain IEPs and related documentation in line with state regulations
• Establish strong, respectful teacher-student relationships to foster a positive classroom climate
• Participate in school and district PD opportunities and meetings as required
