Step into an engaging and rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with diverse learning needs in vibrant educational settings. We are seeking experienced Special Education Teachers for onsite roles serving grade levels K–12 in resource and co-teaching environments, with assignments available at high school, middle school, and elementary school campuses. This is a full-time position, beginning August 5th, 2026, and concluding June 4th, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week during the school year.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and adapting instruction to meet each student’s individualized education plan (IEP).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid South Carolina Special Education Teaching License (Teachers for Tomorrow certification not accepted)
  • Experience working onsite in school-based special education settings (resource/co-teach preferred)
  • Background in developing and implementing IEPs for students at elementary, middle, or high school level
  • Strong collaboration skills with gen-ed teachers, administration, and support staff
  • Organizational strengths and adaptive teaching approaches for varying grade levels K–12

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instructional and support services to students in resource and/or co-teaching settings
  • Develop and maintain IEPs, monitor student progress, and document outcomes
  • Utilize adaptive techniques and materials to support individualized learning
  • Communicate regularly with families, collaborating professionals, and school administration
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events as required
