Multiple openings are available for certified Special Education Teachers. Candidates must hold the 461 endorsement and be certified to teach either Comprehensive and Mild/Moderate or Intervention caseloads.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching license with 461 endorsement required
• Certification in Comprehensive and Mild/Moderate or Intervention
• Proven experience in a special education classroom setting
• Ability to adapt instruction and support to meet the varied and unique needs of students
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Organizational skills to manage caseloads and maintain records effectively

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction according to students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
• Monitor, measure, and report student progress toward IEP goals
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team planning
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs
