Special Education Teacher | Grand Prairie, Texas

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Special Education teaching certification, with preference for EC-12 endorsement
• Experience supporting students with exceptionalities in educational settings

• Ability to collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families
• Flexibility to manage a caseload encompassing a wide age and ability range

What You’ll Do:

• Plan, implement, and adapt instruction for students in Special Education classrooms from early elementary to high school
• Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collect and analyze data on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Work cooperatively with general education staff to ensure inclusive practices
• Engage in regular communication with families to share updates and foster collaboration
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and case conferences to support student success
