Step into an essential role supporting students as a full-time Intervention Specialist for the 2026–2027 school year. This contract opportunity invites passionate Special Education Teachers to make a meaningful impact by providing individualized academic and behavioral support in a collaborative educational environment. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Previous experience or strong interest in serving students with varying needs
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs, accommodations, and modifications
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with families, colleagues, and support staff
- Adaptable and organized, able to manage changing caseload’s and support students of multiple age groups
- Understanding of best practices in classroom management and differentiated instruction
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers to enhance student learning
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that enables all students to thrive
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance guidelines
