Special Ed Teacher | Granville, Ohio

Step into an essential role supporting students as a full-time Intervention Specialist for the 2026–2027 school year. This contract opportunity invites passionate Special Education Teachers to make a meaningful impact by providing individualized academic and behavioral support in a collaborative educational environment. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience or strong interest in serving students with varying needs
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs, accommodations, and modifications
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with families, colleagues, and support staff
• Adaptable and organized, able to manage changing caseload’s and support students of multiple age groups
• Understanding of best practices in classroom management and differentiated instruction

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers to enhance student learning
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that enables all students to thrive
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance guidelines
