Special Education Teacher | Granville, Ohio

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity serving as an Intervention Specialist for elementary students in a dedicated self-contained resource room, spanning 3rd through 5th grades. From August 20th to May 27th, you’ll play an integral role in guiding students with unique learning needs, elevating their educational experience through personalized strategies and unwavering support.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license or credential
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally within a self-contained setting
• Deep understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Clear communication and excellent collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff
• Ability to adapt lessons and interventions to meet diverse academic and behavioral needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction to elementary students in a self-contained resource room
• Develop, review, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to support inclusive practices
• Track student progress, modify interventions, and maintain accurate records
• Cultivate a positive, respectful environment where every student feels supported and empowered
• Engage in regular communication with families regarding progress, plans, and strategies
