Assignment includes a mix of self-contained settings, as well as push-in and pull-out instruction, covering core subjects such as math, reading, science, and social studies.
Key Qualifications:
- Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement covering PreK-22 required
- Previous experience managing behavioral challenges is highly desirable, as many students have behavior disorders
- Confident in teaching across grade bands; flexibility is essential as final placement (3rd or 8th grade) will be determined closer to start date
- Extensive hands-on experience with IEP writing, including independent development of educational goals and completion of full IEPs
