Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher license with Multi-categorical certification or appropriate endorsements
• Experience in elementary, middle, high school, or PreK special education settings
• Comfort managing caseloads within special settings, moderate classrooms, co-taught resource rooms, or multi-categorical self-contained environments
• Strong skills in adapting curriculum, collaborating with general education staff, and implementing IEPs
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• EC certification/endorsement required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction in onsite classrooms across elementary, middle, high school, or PreK environments (scheduling based on assignment)
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Create a nurturing and structured classroom environment tailored for special needs
• Utilize progress monitoring tools to track and report on student growth
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education guidelines
