Key Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License (Multi-categorical or appropriate certifications required)
  • Experience working in Special Education environments, including moderate and resource settings
  • Adaptable to elementary, middle, high school, or preschool populations
  • Strong collaboration skills for co-taught and resource classrooms
  • Ability to provide a blinded resume, copy of certifications, and note preferred age group when applying

Role Highlights:

  • Engage with students at a variety of grade levels: – Elementary: Moderate classrooms and co-taught resource rooms (8:30–3:35) – Middle School: Multi-category self-contained classrooms to co-taught resource (7:30–2:45; includes one part-time position at 18-20 hours/week) – High School: Co-taught resource classrooms (8:30–3:35) – Preschool positions available (schedule TBD)
  • Primarily onsite instruction within an inclusive, dynamic team environment
  • Collaborate with education professionals, therapists, and support staff to deliver individualized educational plans
  • Foster a positive, engaged classroom where every student is encouraged to achieve their fullest potential
