You’ll support students in a variety of environments, including moderate needs and co-taught resource settings, as well as self-contained classrooms. Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License required, with appropriate multi-categorical or equivalent endorsements.
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse special education populations and settings (resource, moderate, self-contained, multi-cat).
- Comfortable adapting instruction to meet IEP goals and individualized needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- EC certification/endorsement mandatory.
- Open to onsite roles; virtual (VOCO) considered for highly qualified candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver daily instruction, interventions, and support for students with varying needs.
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports academic and social-emotional growth.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and related service providers.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and compliance with regulations.
