Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Holds a valid Colorado Special Education Teacher credential
• Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Familiarity with both self-contained and resource classroom environments
• Demonstrated proficiency managing IEPs and implementing individualized supports
• Able to fulfill all general duties and responsibilities required of Special Education Teachers
• Possesses a strong work ethic, growth mindset, and positive attitude toward students and colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute tailored instructional plans based on individual IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to foster inclusive, effective learning
• Track student progress, monitor goals, and provide timely feedback to students and families
• Adapt curriculum and classroom environment based on diverse learning needs
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide a safe, nurturing space and model appropriate behaviors to support all students’ emotional and academic growth
