What We’re Seeking:

• Valid Colorado Special Education Teacher credential required
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred
• Background in both self-contained and resource settings is a plus
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Commitment to maintaining a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique learning needs
• Provide direct instruction, intervention, and support within self-contained or resource settings depending on assignment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, instructional aides, and support staff to ensure comprehensive supports for students
• Track and report student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with state guidelines
• Communicate effectively with families, providing regular updates and supporting student advocacy
• Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom climate where all students feel valued
