Special Education Teacher in Green Bay, WI

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license
• Experience in elementary, early childhood, or high school special education settings
• Strong background in working with students with autism or intellectual disabilities
• Behavior endorsements or substantial training in behavioral interventions
• Commitment to in-person instruction; virtual or remote work is not available
• Ability to design individualized education plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and emotional/behavioral support to students with special needs
• Develop, implement, and assess individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to create inclusive, supportive classrooms
• Work collaboratively with parents, therapists, and school staff to enhance learning outcomes
• Monitor student progress and adapt instructional approaches as needed
