Special Education Teacher - Green Bay, Wisconsin

As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering growth and independence for students in multiple onsite settings: two elementary autism programs, one early childhood (EC) position, and one high school intellectual disability classroom.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience or endorsement in Elementary Special Education and Behavior Interventions
• Demonstrated success working with students on the autism spectrum and/or intellectual disabilities
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to an inclusive, student-focused learning environment

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and interventions tailored to individualized student needs
• Collaborate closely with general education staff, therapists, and families
• Create a safe, structured, and positive classroom atmosphere
• Collect and analyze data to adapt and refine instructional methods
• Promote independence, good decision-making, and self-advocacy among students
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all requirements
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and assist in data-driven goal setting
