Special Education Teacher - Greenacres, WA

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (appropriate for the state)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs tailored to each student’s strengths and requirements
• Deliver engaging instruction in small groups and one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure cohesive educational planning
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in regular IEP meetings
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and strategies for support
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, empathy, and academic achievement
