You'll work closely with general education teachers to adapt instruction, teach in both self-contained settings, and ensure each child's unique needs are met through individualized plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a resource teacher for elementary students with mild disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and implement effective accommodations
• Teach self-contained instructional blocks to address specific learning objectives
• Develop, write, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and structured learning environment
• Communicate regularly with families and staff to support student growth

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience working in a school-based special education setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of instructional strategies for students with mild disabilities
• Experience developing and writing IEPs
