Essential Qualifications:
• Mild/Moderate teaching license, valid for an elementary self-contained classroom
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher (elementary level preferred)
• Strong ability to create individualized lesson plans and educational goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for positive collaboration with students, families, and colleagues
• Commitment to meeting the diverse needs and learning styles of each child
• Capacity for patience, creativity, and adaptability in classroom management
• Willingness to uphold compliance with state and federal education requirements

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personalized instruction and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for approximately 10 elementary students
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and structured classroom atmosphere
• Track student progress, communicate results, and update educational plans as needed
• Collaborate closely with fellow teachers, school staff, and families to best support student learning
• Apply a variety of instructional methods and accommodations to facilitate student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with special education policies
