What You’ll Bring:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with diverse learners, including those requiring 1:1 support
• Familiarity with IEP processes and case management
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with school teams and families
• Flexible mindset, able to adapt to changes in caseload or environment

Your Responsibilities:

• Serve as a case manager for students in grades 3 and 7, supporting their academic and behavioral growth
• Manage a caseload tailored based on team composition: 17 students if working solo or splitting 13–14 students if partnered
• Provide direct instruction and specialized interventions, emphasizing inclusion and individualized learning
• Oversee implementation of IEPs (beginning September 9), ensuring tailored support and compliance
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers (including those offering virtual speech services)
• Support five students needing 1:1 services, ensuring continuity and individualized attention
• Work at two campus locations: middle school (7:45 am – 2:15 pm) and/or elementary (8:45 am – 3:15 pm, focusing on 4th grade)
• Help cultivate a positive, student-first atmosphere
