What we’re looking for:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet unique student needs
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, differentiated instruction to students with varying abilities
- Developing, writing, and monitoring progress on IEPs in accordance with federal and state guidelines
- Working closely with general education teachers and support staff to maximize student progress
- Maintaining detailed records and tracking student achievements
- Providing guidance and behavioral support as needed
- Communicating regularly with families about student growth and classroom activities
- Participating in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
