Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted, small-group and one-on-one instruction to primary-aged students (K–2/3), focusing on foundational literacy, math, and social skills aligned with each student’s IEP goals.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs), adapt classroom materials, and use age-appropriate, evidence-based teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to reinforce learning, monitor progress, and adjust interventions to promote student success.
• Maintain compliance with all state and district requirements, including holding an active Special Education teaching license issued by the South Carolina Department of Education.

Experience:

• Previous experience in schools preferred.

Education:

• South Carolina Department of Education Special Education License

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract

Work Hours: 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
