Exciting opportunities await passionate educators with a drive to make a difference in the lives of students with special needs. Four special education teaching positions are available for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, offering full-time contracts and the chance to work with dedicated colleagues in a supportive environment.

These roles include high school resource and co-teaching assignments, as well as two middle school positions—one being a leave coverage through December. Each opening presents the unique reward of supporting students’ growth and helping them thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid special education teaching credentials and certifications
• Prior experience or a strong interest working with students with diverse learning needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers in co-teaching settings
• Strong classroom management skills and a compassionate, patient approach
• Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Willingness to adapt instruction to support individual education plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate with co-teachers and support staff to facilitate inclusive classrooms
• Monitor and track student progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders
• Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges
• Maintain clear documentation and comply with all program standards and requirements
• Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment where all students feel valued
