Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement

- Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies for diverse learning needs
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute engaging, differentiated lesson plans addressing life skills and academic content
- Conduct ongoing assessments, document progress, and report on student achievement
- Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with related service providers
- Support social-skill development and foster an inclusive classroom culture
- Partner with general education teachers and support staff to ensure a coordinated approach
- Engage with parents and guardians to build trusting relationships and provide regular updates
