Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience or strong knowledge in early elementary education
- Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
- Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
- Up-to-date with current instructional methods and IEP processes
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement specialized instructional plans for students with diverse learning needs
- Deliver engaging lessons and adapt materials as necessary to ensure all students can succeed
- Track student progress, document cases, and update IEPs according to compliance guidelines
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and other educational professionals
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions
