Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Current state licensure as required for Special Education roles
• Experience at elementary, middle, or high school levels (or a combination)
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, differentiated instruction, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Adapt lessons and provide instructional strategies to ensure accessibility for all learners
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to foster inclusive classroom environments
• Track student progress, provide timely feedback, and update educational plans as needed
• Communicate regularly with families to support student achievement and address concerns
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and engaging classroom culture
