Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid South Carolina certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience with K-12 student caseloads
• Knowledge and execution of IEP processes and compliance
• Ability to fulfill all standard Special Education Teacher responsibilities
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to fostering student growth
• Positive attitude and collaborative approach to working with students, families, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction in self-contained and/or resource classrooms
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related services providers, and families
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with all requirements
• Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment tailored to diverse learning needs
• Participate in regular meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities
