Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Elementary Resource | Gresham, OR

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time opportunity serving elementary students in the Gresham, Oregon area for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Details

• Location: Gresham, OR
• Assignment Dates: August 25, 2026 – June 21, 2027
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Elementary School
• Caseload: Resource classroom services
• Split assignment between two school sites
• Approximately 50% of time spent at each location

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Special Education Teaching License
• Relevant Special Education endorsements/certifications required
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
