Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Elementary Life Skills | Gresham, OR

Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time Elementary Life Skills position in the Gresham, Oregon area for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Details

• Location: Gresham, OR
• Assignment Dates: August 25, 2026 – June 21, 2027
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Elementary School
• Program: Life Skills

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students within an Elementary Life Skills program
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring records
• Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and functional skill development
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Special Education teaching license
• Appropriate Special Education endorsement(s)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
