Special Education Teacher - Gretna, LA

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to serve as a Special Education Teacher on a contract basis for a full school year, working 35 hours per week (7 hours daily, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). Key qualifications include:

• Active Louisiana DOE Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement (SPED) is required
• Temporary Authority to Teach (TAT) and Teaching Authorizations (TA) are not accepted
• Must have started and completed the licensure process before applying
• Ability to meet district credentialing requirements, including passing a drug screen and fingerprint background check
• Strong commitment to supporting diverse learners of varying ages and caseloads
