Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid and active Georgia Special Education License required
• Experience working with middle school students in a classroom setting preferred

• Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction to middle school students within the special education program
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to provide inclusive learning opportunities
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with applicable laws and procedures
• Participate in professional development and school meetings
