Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (appropriate to high school level)
• Experience working with neuro-diverse student populations
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and tracking

• Ability to tailor instruction and classroom management for a self-contained setting
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to high school students in a self-contained classroom
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide differentiated lessons tailored to varying academic and behavioral needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with support staff, related service providers, and families
• Employ a range of strategies and interventions to foster positive student outcomes
• Support students in building self-esteem, social skills, and independence in academic and life skills
