Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio certificate/license in Education of the Handicapped K-12 or Intervention Specialist K-12 (either Moderate/Intensive or Mild/Moderate)
• Proficient in adapting teaching strategies for resource room, small group, or inclusion settings
• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs to support students with disabilities
• Background in working with students with multiple disabilities, and with colleagues across diverse backgrounds
• Committed to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere

What You’ll Do:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to Kindergarten learners, adjusting your approach as needed for each individual
• Collaborate closely with other educators, support staff, and families to implement effective education plans
• Utilize a variety of teaching models including resource room, tutoring settings, and classroom inclusion
• Write, update, and track IEPs to ensure legal compliance and to meet student needs
• Create an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and supported in their learning journey
