Two contract opportunities are available for certified Ohio Intervention Specialists to provide full-time instruction and support in high-needs settings. Choose between a high school or a K-5 environment, depending on your experience and passion, and help students achieve their fullest potential with tailored interventions.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist certification is required.
• Previous experience working as a special education teacher in a school setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Adaptable and collaborative approach for working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and individualized support to students in a high-needs classroom (choose either high school or K-5).
• Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service staff, and families to optimize student outcomes.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence in every student.
• Maintain accurate records for student documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in IEP meetings, problem-solving sessions, and professional development activities as needed.
