This opportunity offers a fulfilling contract position supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. With full-time onsite hours (37.5 hours per week) for the entire 26/27 school year, you will help shape an environment where every student can thrive.
You’ll have the chance to work alongside dedicated educators and staff, and your caseload will be assigned based on current student needs—which may offer flexibility to match your expertise and interests. Multiple openings may be available as we finalize caseloads, so both experienced and newer special education professionals are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, valid Special Education teaching credentials (Ohio certification required)
- Education and knowledge appropriate for elementary, middle, and/or high school students (based on assigned grade levels)
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs and adapting curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction and specialized interventions onsite to students with individualized needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to modify lessons and ensure student success
- Manage a caseload ranging from elementary and middle school (up to 16 students per class) and high school (up to 24 students per class)
- Conduct ongoing assessments, collect data, and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and actively engage with parents and guardians
