Key Qualifications:
- Hold active Georgia Special Education (SPED) Licensure or Certification (verification required at time of submission)
- Prior experience in a school-based special education setting, especially working with students on the autism spectrum, is highly desirable
- Demonstrated skills in collaborating with general education teams, managing classrooms, and supporting IEP development and implementation
- Available for a full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for the entire school year
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized, differentiated instruction to students with ASD in accordance with their IEPs
- Partner with general education teachers and support staff to foster inclusive learning environments
- Collect and maintain detailed data on student progress and behavioral plans
- Participate proactively in IEP meetings, contribute to plans, and engage families as partners in student success
- Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth
