What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Valid Georgia Special Education teacher licensure/certification (required; please provide confirmation)
  • Experience in school-based special education settings preferred
  • Familiarity supporting students with autism and delivering individualized instructional strategies
  • Proven ability to collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
  • Strong classroom management and documentation skills
  • Ability to implement and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Availability to work onsite, Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week for the full school year

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction and specialized interventions for students with autism spectrum disorder
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in alignment with state and federal guidelines
  • Review student progress and adapt instructional methods as appropriate
  • Maintain student records and ensure comprehensive documentation
  • Communicate regularly with families, related service providers, and team members
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment
