Special Education Teacher | Guilderland, New York

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a Special Education Teacher working with Grade 8 students in an engaging co-teaching environment. This position runs from August 17, 2026, through June 22, 2027, focusing on English and Social Studies. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid New York State Educator License with Special Education Endorsement
• Minimum of two years of recent teaching experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to write and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Experience working collaboratively with related services staff
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-teach Grade 8 English and Social Studies, ensuring the needs of students with disabilities are met
