This full-time, in-person role runs from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and offers the unique chance to work as a Special Education Teacher within an instructional/resource setting. Serving students for approximately 33.25 hours per week, you’ll deliver impactful instruction in a supportive environment dedicated to educational growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL) required; please be prepared to provide a current copy upon request
  • Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
  • Solid understanding of special education regulations, IEP development, and differentiated instruction
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individualized student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and areas for growth
  • Deliver engaging and effective instruction in an instructional/resource classroom setting
  • Track student progress, document results, and make data-driven adjustments to methods as needed
  • Collaborate with support staff, fellow educators, and families to foster a thriving academic environment
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
  • Encourage student independence, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning
