Two exciting contract opportunities are available for licensed Special Education Teachers with a passion for making a difference in students’ lives. Both positions offer a full-time schedule within supportive, collaborative environments focused on meeting each child's unique needs.

Position 1 details:

  • Contract duration: August 10, 2026 – May 28, 2027
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Age group: Early Childhood (PreK)
  • Caseload: 10–20 students across multiple sites, assignments based on your specialty and skill set
  • All instruction delivered in-person
  • Pay: Earn $82.58 per hour

Position 2 details:

  • Contract duration: August 10, 2026 – May 28, 2027
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Age group: 10–14 years old (Grades 6–8)
  • Caseload: 22 students at a supportive middle school environment
  • In-person highly preferred; possible consideration for virtual delivery for the right applicant
  • Pay: Earn $82.58 per hour

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
  • Valid state certification for Special Education teaching
  • Experience working with PreK or middle school-aged children with diverse abilities
  • Strong skills in developing and implementing IEPs
  • Excellent communication and classroom management abilities
  • Team-oriented approach and professional integrity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver individualized instruction following IEPs and best practices
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Track students’ progress and adjust instruction as needed
  • Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development
