Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with middle school students preferred
• Confidence in managing a caseload of approximately 20 students
• Strong skills assisting with math and reading content mastery
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction in a resource room setting
• Support students’ mastery in core subjects, primarily math and reading
• Deliver push-in services to general education classrooms as needed
• Write, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Track student progress, communicate with parents and staff, and adjust strategies as required
• Participate in required meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events
• Attend new teacher orientation starting July 22nd to prepare for the academic year

This position offers an hourly compensation range of $32–$40, reflective of experience and qualifications.
