Soliant is seeking experienced and compassionate Special Education Teachers to support students during the 2026–2027 school year. We are currently hiring for multiple full-time positions across Special Day Class (SDC) and Resource Specialist Program (RSP) settings.

Schedule: Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Setting: School-based
Positions Available: 4 total
1. SDC Teacher – 2 Positions
Mod/Severe credential required
Autism credentials required
2. RSP Teacher – 2 Positions
Mild/Mod credential required
Classroom Support: Paraprofessional support is provided at a 3:1 ratio
Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student needs and IEP goals.
Provide specialized academic and behavioral support in SDC or RSP settings.
Collaborate with paraprofessionals, general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans.
Maintain accurate student documentation and progress data.
Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
Support students in developing academic, social, behavioral, and functional skills.
Utilize available paraprofessional support effectively to meet student needs.
Required Qualifications
Valid California Teaching License/credential appropriate for the assigned position.
SDC Teachers: Mod/Severe credential with Autism credentials.
RSP Teachers: Mild/Mod credential.
Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in an SDC or RSP setting.
Experience working with students with autism and/or significant support needs.
Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
Experience collaborating with paraprofessionals and multidisciplinary school teams.
