Special Education Teacher | Hamden, Connecticut

Bring your passion for special education to a dynamic contract position working with high school students in a supportive resource classroom. This role focuses on both push-in and pull-out services, helping students achieve their academic goals and make strides in their areas of struggle. You will manage a caseload of approximately 25 students, guiding them in goal progression and supporting their integration in mainstream classrooms.

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing IEPs, participating in and leading IEP meetings, conducting student assessments, and diligently tracking progress towards student goals. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Connecticut Special Education Endorsement (qualified candidates with a valid DSAP will be considered)
• Strong command of writing, maintaining, and executing IEPs
