These contract positions focus on inclusive classroom environments (not self-contained), working collaboratively with staff to ensure every student’s learning needs are met.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification (appropriate to Ohio standards)
• Experience working in school-based special education settings, preferably in inclusive (non-self-contained) classrooms
• Proficient with IEP development, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Commitment to fostering a welcoming, adaptive, and student-centered learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with student IEPs, within general education settings
• Consult and co-teach alongside classroom teachers to provide accommodations and modifications
• Collect, track, and report student progress toward IEP goals
• Engage in ongoing communication with caregivers, team members, and administration
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based activities
• Support students in achieving both academic and behavioral growth within inclusive classroom environments
