Step into a rewarding role as an Intervention Specialist guiding a small group of elementary students in a supportive, self-contained environment. This full-time, in-person position focuses on making meaningful connections with first through third-grade students, with the chance to work with some fourth graders. Take the lead in a Moderate Disability (MD) classroom, providing specialized instruction and personalized support to a group of up to eight students.

Successful candidates will demonstrate compassion, adaptability, and expertise in special education strategies. The setting provides opportunities to both lead in a self-contained classroom as well as collaborate through some push-in support, allowing you to make an impact across varied learning environments.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary students, particularly those with moderate disabilities
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Strong collaboration skills for working with classroom teams and related service providers
• Dedication to fostering student growth both academically and socially
