Your role will involve a commitment from August 5th, 2026, to June 4th, 2027, at 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to build strong connections with students and collaborate closely with educators, aides, and families.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid South Carolina Special Education (SPED) teaching license (no alternative certifications)
  • Previous experience working with special education populations preferred
  • Skill in adapting curriculum and instruction to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
  • Dedication to providing an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment
  • Willingness to work onsite—remote options are not available

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing IEPs tailored to students’ needs
  • Utilizing evidence-based strategies to support a variety of disabilities
  • Maintaining clear communication with teaching teams, related service providers, and families
  • Gathering data and documenting student progress
  • Participating in professional development and team meetings
