Special Education Teacher | Hanahan, South Carolina

Step into a meaningful role supporting students in elementary schools as a Special Education Teacher. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide individualized instruction in a supportive environment across several schools near Hanahan, SC. You’ll work in diverse classroom settings, including resource/co-teach, autism support, and cross-categorical self-contained classrooms, helping students reach their full potential.

Your assignment will span from now until June 4th, 2027, working approximately 37.5 hours per week. Positions are available in multiple elementary schools, encompassing both resource/co-teach and specialized self-contained classrooms.

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Teaching License in Special Education
• Experience delivering instruction in resource/co-teach, cross-categorical, or autism classrooms preferred
• Passion for working with elementary-aged students (K–5)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Adaptable and proactive approach to meeting student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
