We're seeking candidates to fill two roles: one Preschool/LD Teacher and one Teacher for moderate needs for the entire school year, both managing average-sized caseloads.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (active and in good standing)
  • Experience working with preschool students and/or students with learning disabilities
  • Background teaching students with moderate disabilities preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to adapt curriculum and learning strategies to meet varied learning needs
  • Organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, individualized instruction to students with special needs, both in small groups and one-on-one
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to support students’ inclusion and success
  • Communicate progress and needs effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate records for documentation, reporting, and compliance
  • Employ research-based interventions and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learners’ needs
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth and independence
