Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Current licensure/certification as a Special Education Teacher

  • Understanding of IEP process, progress monitoring, and data-driven instruction
  • Ability to differentiate curriculum and deliver accommodations and modifications
  • Strong collaboration skills with general education staff, therapists, and parents
  • Familiarity with SPED 26/27 case management preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct instruction in both pull-out and inclusion settings
  • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet student needs
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate progress records

  • Support social-emotional and behavioral goals in a nurturing environment
  • Communicate regularly with families and related service providers
