Qualifications:

• Active Texas Teaching Certifications required
• Must possess a Special Education EC-12 certification
• In addition, you must also have at least one of the following certifications: EC-6 Core Subjects, 4-8 Generalist, or a 9-12 subject-area certificate
• Experience working with students of varying exceptionalities and grade levels preferred
• Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide specially designed instruction in alignment with each student’s needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress
• Participate in professional development and orientation sessions
