This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is based near Harlem, GA, with positions open for one middle school and two elementary caseloads. You'll play a vital role in delivering specialized instruction, implementing IEPs, and collaborating with educational teams to create a supportive and effective learning environment for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Key Requirements:

  • Current and active Georgia Special Education Teacher licensure/certification (required at time of application)
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based SPED settings is highly valued
  • Strong skills in classroom management and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Proven ability to deliver targeted interventions and manage student documentation
  • Full-time, onsite availability for the entire school year

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on the autism spectrum
  • Provide differentiated instruction and behavioral support tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
