Make a real difference in students’ lives by guiding and supporting learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder during the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to teach and mentor students as part of a dedicated team committed to inclusive education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Georgia Special Education (SPED) Teacher licensure/certification (proof required for consideration)
  • Prior background working in school-based SPED environments is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • Ability to commit to full-time hours (37.5 per week, Monday–Friday) for the full school year
  • Dedication to thorough documentation and IEP compliance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Develop and implement IEPs, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines
  • Work closely with general education teachers to facilitate inclusive learning
  • Document progress, maintain records, and support data-driven decision making
  • Communicate regularly with families and stakeholders
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse student needs

This is a contract role for the upcoming academic year, working on-site within a supportive instructional team. The caseload and specific school sites will be determined based on student needs. Reliable transportation is essential, and flexibility is key as assignments within the district may vary.
