Special Education Teacher in Harlem, GA

Inspire growth and achievement as an IRR Special Education Teacher supporting students with diverse learning needs in a dynamic school environment. This full-time, onsite position is dedicated to delivering high-quality individualized instruction, working closely with a caseload of 15–18 students. The role involves meaningful collaboration with general education teachers, ensuring effective implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and upholding strong documentation and classroom management standards. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through late May 2027.

Qualifications and Preferred Background:

• Current GaPSC Certification in General SPED (or equivalent); candidates must provide certification verification
• Demonstrated experience in school-based special education settings, ideally with middle school students
• Solid background supporting IEP processes, including documentation and progress monitoring
• Proficient in collaborating with both special education and general education faculty
• Capable of fostering a supportive, organized, and well-managed classroom environment
• Commitment to onsite work with full-time availability (Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week)
• Dependable personal transportation is required
