Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and active special education teaching certification (no emergency certifications accepted)
• Prior experience working with K-12 students, including elementary, middle, and/or high school
• Experience or strong interest in Emotional Support and Autistic Support instructional settings
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet varied learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in Emotional Support and Autistic Support classrooms
• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust strategies as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Collaborate with related service providers, support staff, and administrators
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
