Special Education Teacher - Haverhill, MA

As a Special Education Teacher, you will:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's strengths and needs
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to students’ diverse learning styles
• Monitor and assess student progress, regularly communicating with families and support staff
• Foster positive relationships with students while maintaining an inclusive classroom environment
• Provide support and guidance to paraprofessionals assigned to your classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school, district, and regulatory requirements

We’re seeking candidates with:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility)
• Previous experience working with high school-aged students preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• The ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
