Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students
• Background in supporting students with cognitive impairments and/or significant autism preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to providing differentiated instruction

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student’s strengths and areas of need
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, aides, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive support
• Employ evidence-based interventions and instructional strategies
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Support students’ social and emotional development alongside academic growth
